Attention is slowly turning towards the
Hungarian Grand Prix after an off weekend for the
Formula 1 circus. Reflections are underway, and drivers have two races left before the summer break assessments. It seems that
Sergio Perez will be under the microscope at
Red Bull Racing once again.
Marko gives Perez a warning
Marko once again puts driver Sergio Perez under more pressure. According to Marko, two drivers are needed to win the constructors' title. "We still hope that Sergio Perez regains his form. We will evaluate the situation after the next two races during the summer break and then we will see what happens," Marko confirmed the ultimatum given to the Mexican.
There are two more
Formula 1 Grands Prix between now and the summer break. It seems like Perez will have to prove himself in Hungary and in Belgium otherwise changes might be made.

How Mercedes turned it around
Since 2022, Mercedes have struggled with their car. This season, there were fears they could face the same issues again. Nevertheless, they have been able to turn an uncompetitive car into a racewinner. Speaking on the F1 Nation podcast, Mercedes engineering director Andrew Shovlin explained how the team has been able to do this.
Shovlin explained how the team had been working to make these changes:
"It has been a fairly long road, but it has been a road with pretty linear progress on it. From our side, we're looking at the gaps to all the cars in front of us, race pace, qualifying, and we've been chipping away at this from race one in Bahrain," he said.
