Lando Norris's Ferrari F40 has been damaged after losing control, spinning on a public road, and hitting a crash barrier. The McLaren driver was not behind the wheel at the time of the incident.
In recent weeks, several people noticed damage to Lando Norris's Ferrari F40 as it was seen driving through the streets of Monaco. A video has now surfaced online, showing the moment the car lost control and crashed, revealing how the damage occurred.
The damaged Ferrari F40’s registration number matches the one Lando Norris purchased last year for approximately 1.5 million euros. The McLaren driver was frequently spotted driving the supercar around his hometown of Monte Carlo. However, Norris was not behind the wheel during the accident, as he was on holiday.
The Ferrari F40 was introduced in 1987 and was the last car of the prestigious marque to be built under the supervision of Enzo Ferrari. The car features a 2.9-biturbo V8 engine with a maximum output of 471 hp and can reach a maximum speed of 201 MPH. Prices range between around 1 and 3 million euros. The F40 is well known to be a difficult car to drive, with the turbo lag catching drivers out throughout the years.

Lending that car to Max was not a good idea it seems. Did he previously lunge down the inside of an old granny in a Toyota Corolla, in the hope to get his front axle ahead of hers before the junction? :)
A Reliant Robin, perhaps the Super Robin model in Royal Blue, would have been a better choice over the Toyota. ?
Lando out the goodness of his heart gave his buddy Max a shot of his beloved F40 when he was on his hollybobs, and how does he repay him? By sticking it in the barriers?
Haha, I didn't see your post when I wrote mine :)
Great minds.... haha.
Makes one ask... Where was Max. I'm sure he is the root cause of the crash according to some here.
Perhaps the driver should have done the "Alt+F4" cheat to return the car with no damage.
I helped you out and played up to your reaction. You're welcome. :)
Yes, thanks. I believe that’s what it means when it says in the article Norris was not behind the wheel.
