During FP3, race control reported that Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri will be investigated after the session concludes. The stewards have now revealed their verdict.

It has been announced that both Verstappen and Piastri, and their teams, Red Bull Racing and McLaren, have received a warning for the incident.

As the lights turned green after the first red flag of the session, both drivers overtook in the slow lane as they lined up for practice starts respectively.

Piastri finished today's first session in second place, marginally behind his teammate, Lando Norris, while Verstappen finished in P5. During the session, the defending world champion told Gianpiero Lambiase over the team radio that he is not satisfied with his car.

Lewis Hamilton and Lance Stroll were investigated for the same reason a day before in FP2, and they also received warnings respectively. See the stewards explanation below!
