Jos Verstappen still believes that
Christian Horner should leave
Red Bull Racing. The two had a conversation in Bahrain, but peace does not seem to have been made. Jos explains what the two discussed.
What Verstappen and Horner discussed
Jos Verstappen is not present in Jeddah as he is competing at a rally in Belgium. According to Red Bull, Horner and Verstappen spoke after the
Bahrain Grand Prix. Jos had become angry after qualifying and walked out of a meeting with Christian there. On Saturday after the race, the two spoke again, and according to Red Bull, peace was signed.
"He was saying to me 'Do you trust me? I will do everything for your son' and we were talking with our hands, we didn't have a fight. But on Friday we did have an argument in the office, and I walked out but, in the trailer, he came up to me and said 'Congratulations, good race',"Verstappen told the Daily Mail.
Verstappen's other statements also indicate that peace is not quite signed yet. Namely,
Max Verstappen's father still believes Horner should resign. He also expressed his support for the woman who filed a complaint against Horner, the woman who is now suspended by the race team.
