Red Bull has given three of its drivers a new engine part for the Japanese Grand Prix. Max Verstappen, Yuki Tsunoda, and Isack Hadjar have new exhausts.
For the first free practice of the Japanese Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing has chosen to install a new exhaust for both drivers with the RB21. Racing Bulls has done the same for Isack Hadjar.
Formula 1 teams can replace the exhaust eight times during a season. For Verstappen, Tsunoda and Hadjar, this is the first time the exhaust is being replaced. Liam Lawson's car, which Yuki Tsunoda has been driving so far, has already received a new exhaust this season. That car also received a new combustion engine, turbo, MGU-H, and MGU-K.
In addition to the Red Bull cars, very few other teams have made adjustments to the car. Only Jack Doohan and Oliver Bearman's cars, like Liam Lawson's car, received a new combustion engine, turbo, MGU-H, MGU-K, and exhaust.
