Liam Lawson is creating a furore in
Formula 1 at the moment. In Singapore, the New Zealander managed to score his first points in the king class of motorsport. In a video showing teammate
Yuki Tsunoda cooking for Lawson, the latter talks about his work alongside racing.
Lawson on work alongside the track
When Tsunoda asks, Lawson talks about the modelling work he does alongside the track for Italian team AlphaTauri:
"It's extremely, extremely uncomfortable," he says in a video on
Formula 1's YouTube channel. "And they always say, 'Oh, this can't be as hard as driving a car', but it's harder. Driving a car is so simple," the AlphaTauri driver continued.
Lawson is currently the replacement for the injured
Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian was injured during the
Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. Ricciardo was previously the replacement for Dutchman
Nyck de Vries, who was sacked from AlphaTauri. Meanwhile, De Vries has already found a new employer, with that being Mahindra Racing in
Formula E.
