In the 2021 World Championship, Max Verstappen is currently 12 points ahead. Lewis Hamilton will have to chase after him, as there are only five Grands Prix left in the season. The 24-year-old Dutchman has scored an important victory, but it is expected to remain exciting until the end.

Sergio Perez climbed to fourth place thanks to his podium finish in the United States. He passed Lando Norris and is now in fourth place with a one-point lead. His gap to number three Valtteri Bottas is 35 points.

He's still too far from both VER and HAM with raw pace. Something extraordinary must happen for Checo to get better than P3. But positive is that he was now closer to Max, than Bottas was to Lewis. And that's the most imortant indicator, the cap to your team-mate.

Yeah but given the tyre strategy he was trying to pull of pushed him back a bit more but yeah he needs to give it everything to win in Mexico..well everyone needs to

He was ill before race. Plus his water bottle system didn’t work during the race so he was not able to hydrate himself. The race took a heavy physical toll on him.
